We got our I-171H today!!!!!!! This means the US Department of Homeland Security has determined us fit to give proper care to an orphan. Good thing too, since we are already caring for FOUR children and nobody needed to do such background checks on us for them! ;) I find this funny, but respect all procedures of this journey to bring her home.
Wow. This happened WAY faster than we (or our agency) thought it would! Another small victory and another step towards our sweet little girl.
YES!!!!!! Praise God.

How sweet it is...
...To have such amazing people in our lives to make our next fundraiser possible!!!
First, I would like to thank Stacy and Erin (Lindsey's sisters) for putting this whole thing together! They are the sweethearts behind the idea. I never had a sister, so to be a part of your sisterly love is a huge blessing!
Next, to all the great people who stepped up with their talents and resources! The hearts of these people are EXPLODING with love and generosity!! Such a cool thing to witness!
We've had everything from eggs and pancakes to coffee and orange juice donated. We have a "staff" of helpers ,with true servant's hearts, ready to scoop eggs onto plates or clean up at quitting time. We've been given the most adorable cookies to help bring in funds at our bake sale table from an extremely talented gal. Check out her blog-she is so good!

Now, we are hoping to feel the same love and support Saturday morning by getting to put faces with all the ones who have been praying for and supporting us all along the way! Please stop by for a quick delicious breakfast before you start your busy Saturday. It would mean the world to us!
Thank you!!!
Prayer requests:
*Protect our sweet little one a world away from her family
*Guide and protect the amazing Ugandan people who are loving on her until we can
*Bring us our referral
*Let the funds begin to flow
*Help us to remember this is all in His timing and we need to surrender it all to Him
